Recharging my jazz education batteries ...

I just got back from two joyous but snowy days the Jazz Education Network conference in Atlanta, reconnecting with colleagues and making new friends. So much amazing music-making, and fun memories of our pioneering work at ABRSM.

Special shouts out to jazz violinist Martin Norgaard and pianist Monika Herzig who jointly run JENRing, the network for jazz education researchers and academics. Also Michelle James of Sing Up, who I know will get this!
