'Mutual sonic pleasuring': a GALA Choruses conversation with Juia Balén.

It was fun and inspiring to host a GALA Choruses presentation this evening by Julia Balén on: 'A Queerly Joyful Noise’, to a big virtual audience of GALA Choruses singers. Zir ideas about telling ‘counterstories’ through song resonate with all the ways I have programmed with these groups. There were some great questions!

She used some great language, and I will remember Jules’ concept of group choral singing as ‘mutual sonic pleasuring’ for some time.
